athenahealth in the United States seeks a Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning across the organization. You will mentor a high-performing FP&A team and partner with executives to translate complex financial data into strategic actions.

This role offers a competitive base salary in the $126,000–$214,000 range, plus a discretionary bonus and equity as part of our Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of progressive finance experience.
• MBA preferred or equivalent demonstrated leadership.
• Proven supervisory experience with mentoring finance teams.
• Exceptional analytical and modeling skills with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team delivering critical financial insights.
• Own end-to-end planning: annual budgeting, long-range planning, rolling forecasts.
• Champion FP&A best practices in forecasting, reporting, and data integrity.
• Develop and maintain financial models for investments, product lines, and cost centers.
• Prepare monthly financial packages and executive dashboards for leadership and board.
