Job summary

Flodesk is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to own the company-wide forecast, P&L and balance sheet, and to build modular, auditable models. You’ll drive subscription revenue modeling, renewal analysis, and CAC/LTV assessment, partnering with the CFO and cross-functional teams.

You’ll design an AI-enabled FP&A data layer, automate recurring workflows, and deliver compelling board materials. Strong SQL/Python skills and a finance leadership mindset are required.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of FP&A or corporate finance experience, preferably SaaS or subscription-based.
• Rebuilt recurring finance processes with AI or automation, and can explain changes and savings.
• Know where AI is reliable in finance and include reconciliation checks and audit trails.
• Fluency in subscription and SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, renewal rates, CAC, LTV) and linkage to P&L and balance sheet.
• Strong technical foundation: driver-based, three-statement model from scratch with defendable assumptions.
• Comfort with SQL or Python, or willingness to learn, to pull subscription data from systems.
• Designs models, data, and workflows with clear documentation and separation of assumptions from calculations.

Responsibilities

• Own company-wide forecast modeling (P&L and balance sheet) in collaboration with the CFO.
• Build driver-based and scenario models to support strategic decisions.
• Model billings, deferred revenue, and cash across monthly and annual plans; analyze churn and cohort behavior.
• Provide board and executive reporting with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Design FP&A data/automation layer and explore AI-enabled forecasting and controls.
