Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience including FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, variance analysis, and senior leadership partnership.
• Experience leading teams and translating financial data into executive-level insights and improving FP&A processes.
• Experience with accounting principles, internal controls, and financial systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual operating plan, budget, forecast, and long-range planning for Alaska Distribution and Government Energy.
• Develop and oversee financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support growth and capital decisions.
• Partner with leaders to evaluate performance, identify risks/opportunities, and translate data into clear recommendations and actions.
• Provide executive-ready reporting, variance analysis, and financial storytelling for senior leaders.
• Monitor revenue, margin, cost, working capital, and capital trends; identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure plans and reporting align with accounting principles, controls, and enterprise planning.
• Drive FP&A process improvements, dashboards, data governance, and cadence.
• Lead, coach, and develop FP&A team members and finance partners.
