Job summary

Cove Drinks is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead planning, forecasting, and business analysis across the company. You will own the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and long-range planning while acting as a strategic partner to leadership—driving growth through data-driven decisions in a fast-growing beverage brand.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in FP&A or corporate finance, with deep CPG exposure to trade spend, gross-to-net revenue, and channel economics.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of FP&A or corporate finance experience, including people management.
• Experience in CPG (food, beverage, or consumer products) with trade spend and channel economics.
• Advanced financial modeling and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; FP&A/ERP system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecasting across revenue, gross margin, trade spend, and OpEx.
• Build and maintain financial models for pricing, launches, and profitability by channel/customer.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to track performance and flag risks/opportunities.
• Own monthly management reporting with variance analysis and clear executive commentary.
• Develop long-range plans supporting fundraising, capacity planning, and strategic decisions.
• Manage trade spend and promotional ROI analyses for go-to-market models.
• Build and mentor FP&A team, including hiring and development of analysts.
• Improve systems and processes to increase forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency.
• Support ad hoc analyses for pricing, M&A, capital allocation, and new market entry.
