Job summary

Optum is seeking an Associate Director of Finance to join the FP&A team. This remote role supports the Specialty & Home Delivery Pharmacy segment, reporting to the VP of Finance and partnering with senior executives to deliver insights.

You will lead forecasting, budgeting, and analytics, drive efficiency, and mentor a team in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a strong finance foundation and excellent communication to influence strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant, high-impact finance experience.
• 1+ years in FP&A, P&L ownership, or consolidation-type role.
• Proven excellent communication and organization skills.
• Demonstrated solid analytics background and attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Lead volume forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across Specialty & Home Delivery pharmacies.
• Own and manage the consolidated forecast and reporting cadence.
• Drive quality in executive-level outputs with actionable insights for leadership.
• Develop and oversee business planning initiatives and ad-hoc analyses.
• Design analytics frameworks and performance metrics for leadership visibility.
