Job summary

Sand Technologies is seeking an FP&A Analyst / Associate to act as the analytical engine of the Finance team. You will work with the Head of FP&A and CFO to build financial plans, track performance against budgets and translate insights into actionable recommendations for growth.

You will partner with commercial teams on pricing, margins and profitability, delivering decision-ready analyses for senior leadership and investors.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate development or investment banking.
• Strong financial modelling expertise, including building clear, flexible models from scratch.
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and drivers and spot inconsistencies in data.
• Clear written, verbal and presentation skills for senior leaders and non-finance stakeholders.
• High ownership, attention to detail and proactive delivery in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting, Forecasting and Performance Tracking: support annual budgets, rolling forecasts and long-range models; track performance and explain variances; prepare analysis for the Head of FP&A and CFO; update plans as priorities change.
• KPIs and Management Reporting: define and track key metrics; prepare monthly management reports and investor packs; ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Commercial Partnering: analyze pricing, margins and profitability across customers, products and deals; evaluate impact of pricing changes.
• Process Improvement and Strategic Analysis: automate recurring reporting and forecasting; support ad hoc analyses including business cases and fundraising.
