Job summary

Salesloft is seeking a Financial Analyst for its R&D finance team. You will partner with Product & Engineering, build unit economics, and manage headcount KPIs to fuel the product roadmap.

The role emphasizes monthly/quarterly reporting, AI-powered analytics with Pigment and Claude AI, and close collaboration with Accounting for R&D financials. This is a remote US opportunity with growth in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of FP&A, Sales Operations, or quantitative financial analysis roles in tech/B2B SaaS environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for financial modeling.
• Experience with modern FP&A platforms and AI tools to drive analytical productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D financial partnering with Product & Engineering leadership, evaluating unit economics and headcount to drive the roadmap.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting, analyzing results and communicating risks to senior leadership.
• Utilize Pigment and Claude AI to accelerate data analysis, reporting, and scenario modeling for finance workflows.
• Perform ad-hoc business case evaluations and scenario analyses to guide strategic technology investments.
• Partner with Accounting during month-end close to complete variance analysis and R&D financial reporting.
