Placements24 is recruiting a highly analytical Financial Analyst for a fast-growing e-commerce platform. This role emphasizes financial modeling, forecasting, and data-driven decision support across marketing, operations, and sales to drive growth.

You will build and maintain forecasting models, prepare regular reports for senior management, monitor KPIs, and identify cost savings and revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, macros) and experience with Tableau/Power BI/ERP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Experience in the e-commerce or technology sector is a significant advantage.
• Professional certifications such as CFA or CMA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
• Support the budgeting process by consolidating departmental budgets and analyzing variances.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives, investment decisions, and operational improvements.
• Monitor key financial metrics and provide early warnings of potential issues.
• Assist in the evaluation of new business opportunities and market expansion strategies.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor performance to provide relevant market insights.
