Make-A-Wish America seeks a Manager, Foundation Relations to advance nationwide and local foundation funding for wish-granting across the country. You will identify and qualify foundation prospects, develop engagement strategies, and support chapter fundraising teams with research briefs and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Philanthropy, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in fundraising, institutional giving, prospect research, or related discipline.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and fundraising databases.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
• Remote-first, collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and qualify family foundations with national funding priorities.
• Maintain a strategic portfolio of foundation prospects with profiles and histories.
• Monitor foundation trends to inform strategy and pipeline development.
• Prepare briefing materials and prospect reports for fundraising teams.
• Collaborate with national and chapter teams to support foundation fundraising.
