Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with six years’ nonprofit fundraising experience, foundation donors preferred.
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• High integrity, discretion, and quality standards; comfortable with donor interactions.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, flexible, goal-oriented environment; strong planning and organizational skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects with competing timelines and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Proficient with donor tracking software (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and grow relationships with prospective foundation donors, fostering new support for EDF’s mission.
• Develop and execute donor cultivation plans aligned with EDF’s strategic priorities.
• Prepare compelling proposals, reports, and donor materials with program staff and grant writers.
• Provide strategic talking points and briefing materials for donor interactions.
• Attend meetings with foundation representatives to deepen relationships.
• Maintain accurate financial forecasts and donor records in Salesforce.
