Job summary

ENNIS CENTER FOR CHILDREN, INC. seeks a Foster Parent Recruiter Contractual to coordinate recruitment events and manage scheduling and staffing under the contract with MDHHS.

The role is remote and paid at a contracted rate of $25 per hour, with duties spanning collaboration with county offices and community partners across Michigan. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year relevant experience in foster home recruitment.
• Experience as a foster parent or relevant experience in child welfare.
• Experience speaking to large groups.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Satisfactory completion of all employment eligibility and Agency hiring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the local MDHHS office, faith-based communities and key foster/adoptive/kinship parents to implement recruitment services.
• Collaborate with community partners including faith-based organizations and schools to reflect community diversity in recruitment.
• Send contact information for prospective foster/adoptive parents to the appropriate county office or statewide recruitment number.
• Utilize recruitment material produced and/or approved by MDHHS External Affairs and Communication Administration.
• Participate in committees, meetings and advisory councils as deemed necessary by MDHHS.
• Present and distribute information on the foster home licensing process at civic clubs and events.
• Input and maintain contact information in the county recruitment tracking spreadsheet.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule.
• All other duties as assigned.
