Job summary

Children's Hope Alliance invites applications for a Foster Parent Training and Engagement Specialist. This remote role with 50% travel drives the growth of our foster parent network, manages the full lifecycle from inquiry to licensure, and delivers pre-service training using the Teaching Family Model.

You will serve as agency ambassador in the community, lead information sessions, coordinate outreach, and support foster parents through licensing challenges, while adhering to the NTDC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marketing, Communications, Human Services or related field preferred; substitutions allowed.
• Certification in a state-mandated Foster Parent training curriculum or ability to gain certification.
• Experience in recruitment and/or training of Foster Parents preferred.
• Knowledge of Foster Care and trauma impact on children.

Responsibilities

• Act as central hub for foster parent inquiries with screening and follow-up within 48 hours.
• Improve prospective foster parent experience and conversion to licensure.
• Plan and execute community events to raise awareness and build relationships.
• Represent the Agency at community forums and advocate for Foster Parents.
• Monitor recruitment efforts toward agency metrics and goals.
• Lead informational sessions and follow-up calls to move candidates forward.
• Facilitate foster parent pre-service training using NTDC Curriculum and TFM.
