Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed AI capabilities inside business functions and deliver practical solutions within sprint cycles.

You will translate problems into scoped use cases, build AI workflows using Microsoft tools and internal platforms, and ensure adoption with stakeholders. This remote role enables impact across multiple functions while collaborating with domain leaders and engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering, solutions engineering, or related technical roles.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI or intelligent workflow solutions in real business settings.
• Solid knowledge of LLMs, prompt design, retrieval-based architectures, orchestration, and agent-based systems.
• Experience integrating with enterprise APIs, data sources, and workflow platforms.
• Clear communicator with ability to explain tech decisions to business and leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

• Embed in a business function and map workflows to identify high-value AI opportunities.
• Design and build AI solutions using the right tools for the problem: Microsoft AI platforms, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, M365, and custom development where needed.
• Prototype quickly, test with real users, and iterate within short sprint cycles.
• Deliver solutions that integrate into existing workflows — not standalone demos.
• Own adoption and measure business impact post-deployment.
