RemoteJobsOne is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer for U.S. Government programs.

This fully remote role centers on applied AI systems, with responsibilities spanning research, development, and deployment in high-assurance environments. You will work with government partners in forward deployments, design LLM-based applications, and build data pipelines, inference infrastructure, and evaluation tools to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Strong Python engineer with end-to-end ownership experience.
• Experience with LLMs and creating agentic systems.
• Built or maintained data pipelines / ML infrastructure.
• Familiar with RL workflows or simulation environments.
• Comfortable in high-security / high-reliability environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy agentic AI systems from prototype to production.
• Design and integrate LLM applications, multi-agent systems, and RAG workflows.
• Collaborate with government partners in forward-deployed environments.
• Build data curation and evaluation pipelines for model training.
• Develop infrastructure for model inference, experimentation, and deployment.
• Create AI systems turning mission data and tools into operational autonomy.
• Own systems across discovery, architecture, deployment, reliability, and security.
