Haag, a Salas O’Brien Company, is seeking an experienced Forensic Structural Engineer II in the Raleigh, NC area. In this remote/home office role, you will investigate and evaluate the cause and extent of structural damage from storms, fires, defects, and other events.

You will conduct site inspections, develop clear conclusions, write high-quality reports, and communicate with clients and internal teams. A NC PE license or eligibility is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer license in NC or eligible by reciprocity.
• Able to perform fieldwork and travel as needed.
• Legal work status in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct site inspections and determine cause, origin, and extent of structural damage.
• Develop clear, well-supported conclusions and produce technical reports.
• Provide timely updates to clients and stakeholders; manage expectations.
• Work independently from a home office while collaborating with experts.
• Drive issues to resolution and ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Suggest process improvements and contribute to tool development.
