Job summary

Virginia Center for Behavioral Rehabilitation (VCBR) seeks a Forensic Evaluator to provide comprehensive forensic services to residents, including preparing annual review reports and offering testimony as required by the Attorney General.

This role collaborates with SVP Services, the AG's office, state police, and community corrections, and supports remote work while staying connected with partner agencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical or counseling psychology.
• Virginia Clinical Psychologist License.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Knowledge of psychopathology and treatment models; forensic assessment experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide forensic services to residents and prepare annual review reports under § 37.2-910 and provide testimony as required.
• Interface with the Office of SVP Services, Office of the Attorney General, Virginia State Police, and Community Corrections.
• This position is designated as telework and requires effective remote performance with regular communication with partner agencies.
