Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital in Massachusetts is seeking a Psychologist for the Forensic Court Evaluation Unit to join our inpatient team. The role emphasizes psychological assessments, forensic evaluations, and evidence-based psychotherapy for individuals, groups, and families.

You will develop and document treatment plans, contribute to discharge planning, and advise on clinical decisions while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety within HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• PhD in Psychology; licensure per state.
• Five years of post-graduate experience preferred.
• One year of inpatient behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts psychological assessments and risk assessments to support admission, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making.
• Performs triage assessments for the Forensic Unit.
• Provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy using evidence-based practices.
• Develops and documents individualized treatment plans with the treatment team.
• Participates in treatment team meetings, discharge planning, and continuity of care.
