Rimkus Consulting Group is seeking an electrical forensics professional to investigate causes of failures for insurance, legal, and industrial clients in the San Francisco area. You will prepare written and oral reports detailing findings and remediation, and may provide expert testimony as needed.

Candidate should have a BS in Electrical Engineering, a PE license, and 2–10 years of experience. The role involves managing multiple projects, coordinating with experts, and maintaining client

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• P.E. License required.
• 2–10 years of relevant experience.
• Project management and/or field investigation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical engineering investigations to determine cause and origin of failures.
• Prepare oral and written reports detailing findings, loss extent, and remediation.
• Provide opinions and expert testimony in litigation when needed.
• Lead multiple projects and coordinate with other experts to produce client reports on time.
• Ensure safety procedures and review on-site conditions during project execution.
