Job summary

Rimkus Consulting Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide forensic consulting services, determine causes of electrical failures, and prepare reports including expert testimony.

The role includes field investigations, project coordination, client liaison, and travel up to 25%. Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills are essential for delivering high-quality client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent required.
• P.E. license required.
• 2–10+ years of experience in electrical engineering or related field.
• Field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations to determine cause and origin of electrical failures.
• Prepare oral and written reports documenting findings, scope of work, and remediation.
• Coordinate multiple projects with other experts to deliver client reports on time.
• Ensure compliance with Rimkus policies, safety guidelines, and regulations.
• Present information to management, clients, and stakeholders as needed.
