Rimkus is seeking an electrical engineer to provide forensic consulting services, determine causes of electrical failures, and produce detailed reports and expert testimony when required. in Electrical Engineering, a PE license, and 2–10+ years of experience. Travel and a valid driver’s license may be needed; salary ranges from $119,700 to $179,500

Qualifications

• B.S. Electrical Engineering required.
• P.E. license required.
• 2-10+ years of experience.
• Field experience is highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Performs investigation and analysis in electrical engineering for claims and legal matters.
• Field investigations to determine cause and origin of electrical faults.
• Prepare oral and written reports; provide opinions and expert testimony when needed.
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate with experts to produce client reports promptly.
• Ensure Rimkus policies and safety requirements are followed.
