Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a California-licensed Litigation Attorney to join their team in Delray Beach, FL, or work remotely. The attorney will primarily focus on defensive litigation involving residential real estate and mortgages.

Responsibilities include managing litigation processes, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and advising clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle a large caseload.

Qualifications

• Active member of the California State Bar, in good standing.
• Ability to consistently bill 1920 hours per year.
• Knowledge of foreclosure process preferred.
• Experience in real estate or mortgage servicing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of litigation related to mortgage servicing and foreclosure matters.
• Handle pre-litigation cases and assist with clearing title to real property.
• Prepare case analyses and advise clients on strategies.
• Draft court pleadings and motions.
• Conduct discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and make court appearances.
