Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Charlotte, NC is seeking a licensed Litigation Attorney to manage a diverse civil case load, focusing on foreclosure, real estate, and related matters. This role requires NC bar admission and experience in real estate and mortgage litigation.

The attorney will handle matters from referral to disposition, perform legal research, draft filings, advise clients, and appear in court as needed. Travel to hearings is expected, and strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

Knowledge of state laws and civil procedure; federal court practice is a plus.
Experience in real estate, mortgage, or commercial litigation preferred.
Knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, and applicable debt collection and property law is a plus.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to travel as needed.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

Manage litigation caseload, including probate, title curative, wrongful foreclosure, and eviction matters.
Handle cases from referral through disposition, settlement, or verdict, and attend court hearings.
Prepare and review legal documents for accuracy, including court filings and correspondence.
Resolve title issues and complete necessary curative actions for clear title.
Provide legal research and analysis of applicable statutes and case law.
