Job summary

PANGEATWO is seeking a Foreclosure/Litigation Associate Attorney in Oregon with remote work options. The ideal candidate will handle a diverse caseload involving foreclosure, secured lending, title disputes, and related litigation matters, delivering analytical insights and strong writing for pleadings and memos.

The role requires a JD, active Oregon Bar, and 2+ years in foreclosure or related civil litigation, with responsibilities spanning intake, strategy, drafting, and court appearances

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Oregon Bar license in good standing required.
• Washington Bar admission is a plus.
• Two or more years of foreclosure, mortgage servicing, creditors' rights, real estate litigation, or related civil litigation preferred.
• Strong legal research and writing skills with experience drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery.
• Experience appearing in court and handling hearings independently.
• Ability to effectively prioritize a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Westlaw and/or LexisNexis, and other legal technology platforms.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage foreclosure and litigation matters from initial intake through resolution.
• Analyze new files, develop legal strategies, and prepare budgets in a timely manner.
• Draft a wide range of litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and client correspondence.
• Review chain of title, foreclosure documentation, pleadings, and related legal records.
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances throughout Oregon (Washington experience is a plus).
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal team members.
