Job summary

PANGEATWO is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its California litigation team in a fully remote capacity. The role emphasizes strong writing, strategic thinking, and delivering exceptional client service while handling cases across California.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of litigation experience, with preference for mortgage servicing, foreclosure, creditors' rights, or title litigation.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license required.
• 2+ years of litigation experience; mortgage servicing, foreclosure, creditors' rights or title litigation preferred.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Experience drafting dispositive motions, discovery and other litigation documents.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
• Outstanding communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a litigation caseload involving secured lending, title disputes, foreclosure-related matters, and other civil litigation.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, legal memoranda, and client correspondence.
• Analyze new matters, develop litigation strategies, and prepare case budgets.
• Review title documents, foreclosure files, and related legal documentation.
• Conduct depositions and represent clients in court throughout California.
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal team members.
• Provide timely case updates and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff while independently managing priorities.
