Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP is seeking a Foreclosure Attorney to practice in Florida, remotely. The attorney will handle matters involving real estate, title, mortgages, and creditor’s rights, requiring strong civil litigation and advocacy skills.

Candidates must be a Florida-licensed attorney with a JD from an accredited law school, and possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities. The role supports flexible, remote work with occasional in-person hearings in Florida.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Florida and CLE compliance.
• Five years of foreclosure experience preferred; strong interest in real estate or mortgage law considered.
• Knowledge of foreclosure, real estate, secured transactions, evictions and creditor’s rights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage foreclosure cases from inception to completion, including trial.
• Handle pre-litigation cases and clear title to real property.
• Research and prepare legal analysis on claims, risk, exposure and strategies.
• Draft/argue pleadings and motions.
• Conduct all aspects of discovery.
• Develop and implement case strategy with supervising partner and client; communicate with clients.
• Attend court hearings, mediation, conferences, etc., via phone, video, or in person as required.
