Job summary

Sigma Foods is seeking an experienced Food Service Sales Manager to expand our Southeast region from a remote setup. This role focuses on developing key customer relationships, expanding the food service client base, and executing strategic sales plans to drive company growth.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in food service sales, strong broker/distributor relationships, and a proven track record in direct sales and key accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, preferably within the food service industry.
• Experience in direct sales management and key account management.
• Experience managing food brokers and distributor relationships.
• Strong understanding of the food service channel and customer landscape.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Retain and expand the food service customer base within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry partners.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Develop territory growth plans and identify new business opportunities.
• Manage and support food brokers to ensure effective execution of sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers, brokers, and internal teams to drive revenue growth.
• Represent the company at local and national trade shows and industry events.
• Serve as a product and industry resource for customers and business partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
