Job summary

Sigma Foods is seeking an experienced Food Service Sales Manager to grow our Southeast territory and strengthen customer relationships. You will expand the food service base and execute sales strategies to support company growth objectives.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in food service sales, strong industry relationships, experience in direct sales management and with food brokers, and willingness to travel extensively to support accounts and regional trade shows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, preferably within the food service industry.
• Experience in direct sales management and key account management.
• Experience managing food brokers and distributor relationships.
• Strong understanding of the food service channel and customer landscape.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Retain and expand the food service customer base within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry partners.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Develop territory growth plans and identify new business opportunities.
• Manage and support food brokers to ensure effective execution of sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers, brokers, and internal teams to drive revenue growth.
• Represent the company at local and national trade shows and industry events.
• Serve as a product and industry resource for customers and business partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
