PerkinElmer seeks a results‑oriented Sales Specialist for the Food Quality and Performance Testing segment, covering the Western US from remote locations (CA/CO). You will hunt for new customers and nurture existing ones, driving revenue for capital equipment in the food laboratory testing space.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of sales experience, and a track record of meeting a $2M+ annual quota.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of sales experience.
• 3+ years of sales experience in the food laboratory testing industry.
• Proven ability to carry and deliver a sales quota over $2M annually.

Responsabilités

• Develop technical knowledge of the portfolio serving food markets.
• Create and execute a strategic plan to grow revenue in food testing equipment.
• Manage territory including prospecting and maintaining relationships with food processors and testing accounts.
• Conduct seminars and presentations to drive interest and close deals.
• Maintain a healthy sales funnel with accurate forecasts and convert to revenue to meet quotas.
• Travel as needed; up to 50% travel and valid driver’s license required.
