Job summary

Relativity seeks a FOIA Data Migration & Compliance Lead to drive end-to-end migration projects for federal, state, and local agencies within RelativityOne. You’ll partner with engineering to define tooling requirements and engage FOIA customers for migration execution, ensuring data security under FedRAMP and Public Trust requirements.

This role blends hands-on data migration with technical leadership, owning user stories, specifications, and best practices while guiding compliance with FOIA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information management, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience with government agencies or regulated industries in technical/consulting roles.
• Experience with data migration, data integration, or data engineering including designing/executing migrations of structured/semi-structured data.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data querying/transformation; experience with Python, PowerShell, JSON, XML, or CSV processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to translate complex concepts for government stakeholders.
• Product owner or technical lead experience—capturing requirements, documenting specs, driving delivery.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end FOIA data migration projects for RelativityOne, ensuring accurate, secure, and efficient migrations.
• Develop and execute migration plans with data mapping, validation, transformation logic, and cutover strategies.
• Serve as technical SME and backlog driver for Data Migration Utility, balancing immediate delivery with long-term scalability.
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and specs; test/features and provide feedback for iterations.
• Document tool capabilities, configurations, and migration best practices.
• Apply FOIA regulations and agency workflows to deliver tailored migration guidance.
• Partner with TAM and Customer Success to onboard new FOIA agency customers and create repeatable playbooks.
