VAU0 LLC in the United States is seeking an experienced FMCSA compliance specialist to join a small, fast-paced team building AI-powered dispatch and ELD tools. You will ensure driver qualification files are complete, monitor ELD/HOS compliance, and help manage safety programs across carrier operations.

This remote-friendly role emphasizes hands-on auditing, DOT audit preparation, and collaboration with dispatch and recruiting to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years FMCSA compliance or trucking safety experience.
• Knowledge of 49 CFR Parts 382, 383, 391, 395.
• Experience with driver qualification file management.
• Familiarity with ELD systems and HOS rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and audit driver qualification files (DQ files).
• Monitor ELD compliance and HOS violations.
• Manage safety program — accidents, incidents, corrective actions.
• Prepare for and manage DOT audits and new entrant reviews.
• Coordinate with dispatch and recruiting on compliance requirements.
