Job summary

Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School in St. Louis seeks a faith-filled, knowledgeable, and student-centered Part-Time Theology Teacher to provide instruction in Catholic theology and religious studies.

The teacher plans, delivers, and evaluates theology courses, supports spiritual growth, and collaborates with administration, faculty, students, and families to uphold Catholic education goals. This role emphasizes mission alignment, classroom engagement, and participation in faith activities

Responsibilities

Teach theology courses per curriculum requirements for Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School and the Archdiocese.
Develop engaging lessons promoting student engagement, critical thinking, and understanding of Catholic teachings.
Integrate Scripture, Catholic doctrine, Church tradition, prayer, and moral decision-making into instruction.
Foster a faith-filled classroom environment supporting spiritual growth and discipline.
Assess student learning through assignments, exams, and projects; maintain records.
