Job summary
School Leaders in California seeks a senior fiscal leader to guide district financial planning, stabilization, and multi-year projections in a remote, full-time capacity. You will lead LCFF and school finance initiatives for CA K-14 clients.
Responsibilities include mentoring analysts, presenting to boards, county offices and FCMAT, and developing stabilization and consolidation plans. CASBO CBO certification is preferred; remote work is supported with W-2 benefits for full-time staff.
Qualifications
- Former CBO, Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, or FCMAT/county-office fiscal experience.
- Deep LCFF and school finance knowledge.
- CASBO CBO certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead district fiscal health reviews and multi-year projections.
- Develop stabilization and consolidation plans.
- Present to boards, county offices and FCMAT as needed.
- Mentor consulting analysts.
