Job summary

Washington State Health Care Authority is seeking a Fiscal Analyst 4 to serve as the subject matter expert for the Medicaid Administrative Claiming program. You will manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and complex GL reconciliations under supervision, ensuring compliance with state and federal rules.

You will review MAC contracts, prepare monthly accruals, and advise stakeholders on new accounting processes while working in a hybrid setup based in Olympia, WA.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and perform accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accrual accounting for MAC program
• Review MAC invoices for accuracy and compliance
• Review MAC contracts to ensure requirements are followed
• Prepare monthly accruals for MAC contracts
• Process cash receipts with proper fund coding
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts monthly
• Provide guidance on MAC processes to internal/external stakeholders
