Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) seeks a Fiscal Analyst 4 to act as the subject matter expert for the Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC) program. You will manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and GL reconciliations, ensuring GAAP and SAAM compliance while reporting to the Administrative Accounting Manager.

You will serve as a key advisor to internal and external stakeholders, handling complex financial data and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and grow while meeting agency deadlines.
• Ability to communicate with diverse audiences and facilitate teams.
• Understand Chart of Accounts and account coding.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize and perform AP, AR, and accrual accounting for MAC program.
• Review MAC invoices for accuracy and compliance with rules and regs.
• Review MAC contracts to ensure requirements are followed.
• Prepare monthly accruals for MAC contracts.
• Process cash receipts with proper account coding.
• Analyze and reconcile GL and subsidiary accounts; report irregularities.
• Guide internal and external stakeholders on MAC processes.
