Moxie is a remote-first company enabling aesthetic entrepreneurs nationwide. We seek a Staff Data Engineer to own the data infrastructure end to end—pipelines with Prefect, Airbyte, Snowflake, and the modeling layer with dbt and Omni—impacting every published metric.

You will partner with Engineering, Finance, and product teams to ensure reliable, scalable data foundations. This is a highly visible role on a small team, with ownership of the data platform, security reviews, and cost

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of data engineering experience, including early data hire experience.
• Deep dbt and SQL modeling applied to business logic, including cash vs. accrual concepts.
• Python and production pipeline ownership across orchestration tools.
• Experience gathering requirements from non-technical partners and delivering end-to-end data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own data stack end-to-end, including pipelines, warehouse, and modeling.
• Maintain dbt models and orchestration layers with performance and cost in mind.
• Deliver high-impact projects in quarterly cycles.
• Establish SOPs, KPIs, and incident response processes for data infrastructure.
