Job summary

Cisco dCloud is seeking a Software Architect to design and build the Demo Platform and Automation. You will shape technical direction as an individual contributor, influencing partner teams through your designs, code and reviews.

You will build libraries and APIs that help content developers ship reliable demos faster and create MCP servers and chatbots to simplify demo usage. Spend about 45% of your time coding services in Go and Python on Kubernetes, and building micro-frontends with AI tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering or related field (or equivalent).
• 10+ years in software engineering with 3+ years designing distributed systems across on-premises datacenters and public cloud.
• Experience running containerized services on Kubernetes (EKS) with GitOps (Argo CD, Helm) and Terraform or similar IaC.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions across the dCloud platform and drive architectural direction.
• Code 45% of time in Go and Python, and build micro-frontends with AI tools.
• Create MCP servers and catalog chatbots to improve demo discoverability and execution.
• Collaborate with partner teams and content developers to plan work and ensure reliability and security.
