Job summary

S&A Communications in Cary/Raleigh-Durham, NC is seeking a hands-on social media strategist and content creator to elevate the social presence of agency clients and a leading automotive B2B vertical.

You will own organic and paid social strategy, create platform-native content, edit short-form video, and lead reporting while collaborating with editors and account teams to extend stories across channels with each brand’s voice intact.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of relevant professional experience in social media, digital content, PR, marketing communications, or journalism.
• H hands-on paid social expertise with real campaign budgets and measurable results.
• Demonstrated organic social expertise including strategy, calendars, copy, community management.
• Practical video and visual-content capability including capturing footage and editing.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio.
• Editorial content amplification with judgment to translate stories into engaging content.
• Client-service and account coordination capability.
• Local availability for regular in-person meetings in the Triangle area.

Responsibilities

• Lead organic and paid social strategy across assigned accounts.
• Develop platform-native content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other channels.
• Capture and edit short-form video on-site and in-office.
• Collaborate with editors and account teams to turn stories into social content.
• Manage publishing, engagement and social listening; provide performance insights.
• Provide PR and writing support for select agency accounts.
• Plan calendars, approvals and reporting for campaigns.
