Coinbase is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the IT Operations team to drive AI transformation. You will own AI infrastructure reliability, automation, and full‑stack capabilities powering internal AI products at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience automating and supporting cloud infrastructure (AWS) and network environments.
• Hands-on use of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt).
• Proven experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, Ruby, or Go and Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Platform-builder mindset with reusable infrastructure and APIs adopted across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of AI products by building production-grade distributed systems across the full stack.
• Design APIs, abstractions, and tooling to enable product teams to integrate AI capabilities with minimal bespoke infra.
• Collaborate with Platform and product teams to align infra requirements and resolve cross-team dependencies.
• Establish architectural patterns, mentor engineers, and improve code quality, observability, and reliability.
• Build full-stack apps powering internal AI products and infrastructure using Go or Python.
