Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a senior operations professional to strengthen the FCM operating model across core workflows, including trade flow, position management, margin monitoring, and internal reporting.

Qualifications

Deep knowledge of listed derivatives, futures operations, and broker-dealer or FCM workflows.
Extensive experience in operations, product operations, or program leadership in regulated financial services.
Hands-on knowledge of trade processing systems, books and records, and related infrastructure.
Experience leading large-scale transformations in the listed derivatives ecosystem.
Ability to operate autonomously at a senior level with strategic and execution skills.
Strong track record turning ambiguities into durable process or tooling improvements.
Experience partnering with Product and Engineering to build scalable operating solutions.
Excellent analytical, prioritization, communication, and systems-thinking skills.
Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight.

Responsibilities

Own and continuously improve the FCM operating model across core workflows including trade flow management, position management, margin monitoring, internal reporting, regulatory reporting support, and business analytics.
Lead the design and build of scalable operational solutions across people, process, and tooling, reducing manual effort and enhancing control quality.
Monitor stability and process reliability using data; provide health transparency and prioritize enhancements for a regulated environment.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, Accounting, Compliance, Legal, and external partners to shape requirements and translate needs into practical solutions.
Drive strategic initiatives across launch readiness, process redesign, automation, and vendor tooling.
Define future-state workflows and ownership for new products and expansions, embedding operational considerations early in design.
Elevate documentation, policies, procedures, governance standards, and decision frameworks.
