Requirements include California Bar admission and 2+ years of insurance coverage experience. The role is fully remote anywhere in California with a base salary range of $120k to $200k plus bonus and firm-provided benefits.

Qualifications

• California Bar admission, active and in good standing
• 2+ years of insurance coverage and first-party property experience
• Associate through junior partner welcomed
• Experience in first-party property coverage, subrogation, and commercial litigation for insurers welcomed

Responsibilities

• Draft coverage opinions for insurer clients on first-party property claims
• Defend insurers in lawsuits filed by insureds
• Analyze policy language and claims to advise on coverage positions
• Support subrogation actions on behalf of insurer clients
• Coordinate with insurer claims teams and adjusters on active matters
