Job summary

PerfectServe is seeking a mobile developer early in their career to build and maintain cross‑platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native. You’ll work from a shared codebase in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment and contribute to front‑end, integration, and debugging tasks based on team priorities.

The role involves implementing robust UI/UX, consuming REST APIs, and collaborating with senior engineers while practicing test‑driven development and participating

Qualifications

• Some prior technical experience in mobile development or related technical area.
• Working knowledge of React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript, including React fundamentals such as components, state, props, and hooks.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and/or Agile delivery practices.
• Familiarity with mobile UI/UX principles and an interest in building skills across iOS and Android.
• Experience using Git for version control and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Health IT experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android under the guidance of more senior mobile engineers.
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and third‑party SDKs.
• Debug and resolve bugs, performance issues, and platform-specific quirks between iOS and Android.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers.
• Write and maintain basic unit and integration tests to help ensure application stability.
• Communicate effectively in a remote environment, including maintaining an active on‑camera presence during meetings when expected.
