Job summary

PerfectServe in the United States is seeking an early‑career mobile developer to join a collaborative, cross‑functional team. You will build and maintain cross‑platform mobile apps for iOS and Android from a shared codebase, translating designs into high‑quality code and integrating with REST APIs and third‑party SDKs.

Qualifications

• Some prior mobile development or related technical experience, or a bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering.
• Working knowledge of React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript, including React fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and/or Agile delivery practices.
• Familiarity with mobile UI/UX principles and interest in iOS/Android.
• Experience using Git and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong communication and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Health IT experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross‑platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android under the guidance of more senior mobile engineers.
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high‑quality, responsive code.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and third‑party SDKs.
• Debug and resolve bugs, performance issues, and platform‑specific quirks between iOS and Android.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers.
• Write and maintain basic unit and integration tests to help ensure application stability.
• Communicate effectively in a remote environment, including maintaining an active on‑camera presence during meetings when expected.
