Job summary

AHL + Saaf AI is seeking an MLOps Engineer to own the infrastructure powering our AI platform for mortgage lending. You’ll scale deployments, ensure reliability, and enable fast, safe releases across environments while handling real production load.

Treat infrastructure as a product, build internal tooling, and partner with engineering to improve AI behavior with minimal toil. This remote-first role offers ownership from development through production and a platform the whole company builds on.

Qualifications

• Production infrastructure ownership: deployed and operated containerized services in production under real traffic.
• Infrastructure as code: declarative environments; avoid manual configuration and migrations.
• CI/CD depth: pipelines with automated testing, promotion across environments, safe rollout, fast recovery.
• Strong Python: read, modify, profile AI stack; not just packaging or deployment.
• Operational judgment: debug production problems across app, network, and infra.
• Ownership without guardrails: drive work end to end from design to follow-up.
• Fast iteration: ship incrementally and reduce risk with quick feedback.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale scalable AI serving infrastructure that handles production load.
• Own capacity planning, autoscaling, and unit economics for cost control.
• Build promotion paths from development to pre-prod to prod with reproducible environments.
• Make infrastructure, configuration, and application logic fully version-controlled.
• Develop CI/CD with real rollback, staged rollout, and auditable change history.
