Job summary

Ethyca is seeking a Head of Finance to own all financial operations as it scales beyond $100M ARR. This hands-on leadership role covers bookkeeping, monthly close, FP&A, and investor reporting, in partnership with the CEO and Operations to drive disciplined financial decisions.

Build scalable processes using QuickBooks, Rippling, Ramp and BILL; establish internal controls and GAAP-compliant accounting, and translate complex data into clear executive insights for fast growth.

Qualifications

• Must have experience leading finance functions end-to-end in early or growth-stage tech companies.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, and monthly close cycles.
• Proficiency in building and interpreting SaaS metrics and financial models.

Responsibilities

• Own bookkeeping, payroll accounting, A/P, A/R, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Develop and manage rolling 12-month forecasts and FP&A cadence.
• Deliver investor updates, board reporting packages, and KPI dashboards.
• Establish internal controls, policies, and audit-ready documentation.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations to align finances with strategy.
