Job summary

Coinbase, a remote-first company, seeks a Senior Manager, Head of KYC within Central Compliance to own global KYC strategy, policy, and program execution across regulated entities. You will lead KYC professionals, coordinate with operations, product, and regulatory stakeholders, and ensure scalable design across jurisdictions.

You will serve as a senior escalation point for KYC on onboarding matters, drive enterprise-wide process design, and report KPIs to executives.

Qualifications

10+ years designing and implementing KYC programs at financial institutions.
Strong knowledge of AML/CTF and sanctions regulations across jurisdictions.
Proven track record building scalable global KYC programs from design to execution.
Experience as senior escalation point for KYC/onboarding matters and regulators.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end strategic direction of Coinbase's Global KYC program and policy.
Lead a KYC team across second-line compliance and ensure cross-jurisdiction consistency.
Drive KYC issue management, corrective actions, and program enhancements.
Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering to launch KYC initiatives.
Serve as DRI for regulatory reporting and senior management KPIs.
Shape interpretation of KYC requirements with Legal and Compliance teams.
