Job summary

Tiny Health is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to join our Product & Engineering team. You’ll design and maintain backend services, APIs, and databases powering our microbiome platform, and contribute across the stack when needed.

You’ll collaborate to deliver end-to-end features, lead database architecture improvements, and participate in DevOps, CI/CD, and monitoring initiatives as we scale our systems.

Qualifications

• Strong backend engineering experience with serverless architectures.
• Relational databases experience with data modeling (PostgreSQL, MySQL, RDS).
• Ability to assess and optimize database performance and migrations.
• Experience with AWS services and REST API development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced remote startup.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and databases that power our product.
• Collaborate with our team to deliver full-stack features end-to-end.
• Lead and improve database architecture, performance, and reliability.
• Participate in DevOps and infrastructure projects, including CI/CD, deployments, and monitoring.
• Contribute to architectural decisions as we evolve our stack and scale our systems.
• Work closely with product, design, and leadership to scope and deliver high-impact features.
