Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst on the FP&A team to own forecasting, budgeting, and driver-based modeling for Consumer OpEx.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to translate financial insights into actionable resource allocation and trade-offs for one of Coinbase's largest business lines. The role emphasizes building scalable models, leading variance analyses, and presenting insights in business reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance with OpEx planning ownership.
• Experience managing large OpEx budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for executives.
• Proficient in Excel, SQL, and planning tools; experience with Anaplan or NetSuite.
• Collaborates with Product, Engineering, or Design to align finance with priorities.
• Experience in high-growth tech/fintech; able to handle multiple workstreams.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end forecasting, budgeting, and monthly deliverables for Consumer OpEx.
• Build driver-based financial models to quantify risks and scenarios.
• Lead monthly variance analysis and month-end close with Accounting.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design to translate insights into allocations.
• Prepare and present analyses during business reviews with clear recommendations.
• Execute deep-dive analyses to surface trends and efficiency opportunities.
