Coinbase, Inc. is hiring a Finance & Strategy Analyst to join the Product Finance FP&A team, driving the financial story for Consumer Trading, Developer, and Stablecoin lines.

You’ll forecast, analyze variances, and provide strategic insights across revenue and expenses, partnering with Product, Engineering, Operations, Data, and HR. You’ll build models, deliver actionable analyses, and help leadership understand drivers, risks, and opportunities to guide next steps.

Competenze

• 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or related analytical role.
• Advanced Excel and SQL skills for data analysis.
• Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders to validate inputs and present analysis.
• Track record of identifying financial trends or risks and escalating insights.
• Strong close process accuracy and variance analysis experience.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to improve workflows.

What you'll do:

• Own Consumer Trading revenue forecasting and variance analysis, reconciling actuals against forecast on a monthly cadence
• Manage end-to-end financial deliverables for Developer and Stablecoin products, covering both revenue forecasting and OpEx budget tracking
• Build and maintain the driver-based financial models that power analysis across Trading, Developer, and Stablecoin revenue and expense lines
• Investigate financial and operational data proactively to surface trends, anomalies, and opportunities before they're asked for
• Lead the month-end close process for your coverage areas, conducting detailed variance analysis and partnering with Accounting to ensure data integrity
• Present financial analysis during business reviews, translating complex data into clear recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or a related analytical role, with demonstrated ability to build driver-based revenue and expense models independently
• Technical proficiency in advanced Excel and SQL for data analysis, with exposure to planning tools such as Anaplan, NetSuite, or Adaptive Insights
• Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders (e.g., Product, Engineering, Operations) to validate assumptions, gather inputs, and present financial analysis
• Track record of independently identifying financial trends or risks and escalating insights to leadership without being prompted
• Proven accuracy in financial close processes, variance analysis, or reconciliation workflows
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Pay Transparency Notice: Base salary varies by location (see range below). Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).

Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):: $130,900 USD - $154,000 USD
