Job summary

BetterInvesting seeks a Director of Education & Member Learning to own the full lifecycle of member education, from curriculum strategy to program delivery. You’ll modernize our educational approach while preserving the rigorous Stock Selection Guide framework, collaborating with marketing and operations.

You will lead a diverse team and liaise with the volunteer network to advance learning across chapters and clubs.

Qualifications

• Deep interest in individual investing and personal finance; capable of translating concepts for learners.
• Willingness to develop fluency in BetterInvesting's analytical framework (SSG).
• Ability to design structured, sequenced educational programs from basics to advanced.
• 1–2 years of experience designing online learning programs and engaging learners.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, development, and delivery of all educational programs (online courses, webinars, workshops, events).
• Lead and develop a team spanning home office staff and volunteers; coach for growth.
• Manage department budget and resource planning; align with marketing/goals.
• Serve as subject matter expert on the SSG and related educational resources.
• Develop progressive curricula from introductory to mastery levels around SSG.
• Partner with marketing to maximize reach, SEO, and digital acquisition.
• Establish metrics for educational effectiveness and improve outcomes.
