• Experience delivering economic-development strategies for counties, cities, or similar clients.
• Ability to combine quantitative analysis with stakeholder engagement and planning.
• Willing to work as a 1099/project-based collaborator with travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess local economic conditions, industry mix, workforce capacity, sites, infrastructure, and competitive positioning.
• Engage county leaders, municipalities, employers, institutions, and community stakeholders.
• Develop target-sector, business-retention, investment-attraction, and workforce recommendations.
• Translate research into a prioritized strategy, implementation roadmap, metrics, and governance model.
• Contribute economic-development qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned.
